Two Day Accelerated Freefall Starter Course -
jumps from up to 13,000 feet!

A course for those wanting to become qualified skydivers!

Which includes 30 minutes wind tunnel time with AFF levels 2 to 8 - see below!

You'll start by spending a full day in the class room going through the "AFF Level 1" training syllabus (AFF stands for Accelerated Free Fall). On the second day, weather permitting, you'll be ready to make your first skydive with two instructors from an altitude of up to 13,000 feet using your own parachute - as shown on the above video.

Having completed your AFF level 1 skydive you'll then be able to sign up for the rest of the course and go on to obtain your licence - which is a qualification recognised worldwide.

This involves completing AFF levels 2 to 8 (all of which are jumps using your own parachute, again as shown on the above video, with the necessary instruction included, and can be achieved in a minimum of 7 jumps) plus a further 10 jumps on your own - known as consolidation jumps.

Once qualified jump prices greatly reduce and you'll also be able to start jumping with other people from altitudes up to 13,000 feet free falling for approximately 70 seconds before deploying your parachute to be open at 2000 feet.

Prices for the "AFF Level 1" starter course are as follows...

1 person attending on their own £395
2 people attending as a group £360 per person
3 people attending as a group £330 per person
4 people attending as a group £300 per person

All prices quoted on this page include club membership, the mandatory temporary membership of the British Parachute Association and third party insurance cover for £5,000,000 as well a separate payment to the instructors who provide their services independently.

Additional charges to complete the full AFF qualifying course

The charge for completing the remaining 7 levels of the complete course (i.e. AFF levels 2 to 8) is then £900 - which includes 30 minutes wind tunnel time. You'll also need to upgrade your temporary British Parachute Association membership to full membership.

If you have to repeat any of the levels these are charged at cost. Currently £175 for AFF levels 1 to 3, £110 for AFF levels 4 to 7 and £50 for AFF level 8.

The 10 consolidation jumps are charged at £35 each.
